Pay and Save, Inc. consists of 147 grocery and 6 hardware stores in 5 states under the following banners: Lowe's Market, Food King, Lowe's Mercado, Lowe's Signature Market, Lowe's Super Save, Lowe's Shop-n-Save, Lowe's Corner Market, Lowe's Fiesta Foods, Lowe's La Tienda, and Pay and Save Hardware.

These guiding principles have been at the heart of our company since its founding, shaping how we serve our teammates, customers, and communities. From fresh produce and pantry staples to local favorites, our stores are designed to meet the unique needs of the neighborhoods we call home.

The story of Pay and Save began in the late 1940s when E.M. "Bud" Lowe started selling candy and sundries from a single truck in Littlefield, Texas. In 1963, the Lowe family purchased their first grocery store in Olton, Texas, establishing a business founded on faith, community care, and hard work.

Faith has always been a cornerstone of Pay and Save's success. Roger Lowe Sr., a visionary leader and a man of strong faith, transformed the company into one of the fastest-growing supermarket chains in the region. He believed deeply in the importance of family and serving others with integrity. In 2024, the Lowe's family and teammates mourned the passing of our beloved founder, Roger Lowe Sr. His leadership, heart, and vision have left a lasting legacy that continues to guide us each day.

Family principles remain at the heart of Pay and Save. Today, Roger Lowe Jr. serves as CEO, and Lezlie Lowe acts as Vice President and General Counsel, leading the company into the future while honoring the traditions and values of their predecessors. Their leadership ensures that Pay and Save is a place where teammates can grow, families are prioritized, and communities are supported.
